When I was younger, it was normal for people to write their own websites. Creating their own little corner of the web, talking about their interests.
Unfortunately, in recent years, the internet has changed for the worse. There's now a handful of very large websites, owned by very rich and powerful companies that dominate the web. The internet has become a much less fun place to be. It is now biased in favor of corporations instead of the individual. It's corporate and controlled with little room for self-expression. You follow the rigid guidelines of social media and play by their rules.
This website is my own humble attempt to regain what was lost. To take back the web from its cold, corporate grasp.

When I was younger, I did make an incredibly shitty sprite comic on tripod.com. I did this with the HTML I learned in school over 15 years ago at this point. Despite this, I sorta feel I missed out on the whole webmaster deal. I guess in a way I wanna live out what passed me by a long time ago, in an age where people just don't do these things anymore. It'll be fun, it's never too late to start some new endeavor!

So, what is this website for? Simply anything I like it to be. I want to write articles about my interests, share my art and animation and later on, host a webcomic with audience participation. Share my passions with the world. Not for anyone in particular, but just because I like to. As people did back in the days of a better internet.
Let's see if we can put the net back in the hands of the individual!

If you'd like to make your own site as well, you should check out Neocities.org, the site I'm using to host this one for free!!
