Having experienced that monsters commonly like to ambush prey, you know you can't be too certain about anything and you don't like taking chances.
You pick up a nearby rock and get ready to hurl it at the conspicuous mound in the middle of the clearing.

After a brief moment of mentally preparing yourself for what may lie ahead, you throw the rock!
